The Optimist is where sailing begins. Designed by Clark Mills in Florida in 1947, this little pram dinghy has taught generations of children to sail, and it is still the most popular youth racing boat in the world. Almost every sailor in New Zealand started out in one.
This technical blueprint of the Optimist dinghy is drawn line by line with a pen plotter using real ink on premium paper, with key dimensions marked. It is a wall art print made for a bedroom, club room or office, and a great gift for young sailors, proud sailing parents and coaches.
